State-level Chess tourney for visually challenged

Dasara Mahotsav-2022 Sports Sub-Committee and DivyaJyothi Charitable Trust, Mysuru, have organised a State-level chess tournament for visually challenged at the Trust premises in Dattagalli 3rd Stage on Oct. 1 and 2.Over 100 visually challenged people from across the State will take part. The tournament will be held in seven rounds. A special chess board has been designed for visually challenged. First, second and third prizes will be given along with trophies and certificates. One youngest visually challenged participant will get consolation prize and trophy.

Bus facility from Railway Station and Bus Stands has been arranged. Free food and accommodation will be provided to all from Sept. 30 to Oct. 3 at the Trust premises.
