State level Govt. Employees Sports Meet postponed by a day

The Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports (DYES) has postponed the three-day State level Sports Meet for Government Employees scheduled to take place at Davanagere by a day. The Sports Meet, which was earlier scheduled to take place from Oct. 21 to 23, will now be held from Oct. 22 to 24.

Government employee sportspersons who  bagged the first and second place in individual events and teams which have bagged the top place in team events at the Mysuru District level Sports Meet held at Chamundi Vihar Stadium in the city on Oct. 12 and 13, are required to collect their identity cards at the Department office located in Chamundi Vihar Stadium at Nazarbad before 5 pm on Oct. 18, according to a  press release.
