State-level Inter-Collegiate Singing Competition

The Kannada Department of Maharani’s Women’s Commerce and Management College, located on Valmiki Road, Paduvarahalli, in association with the city’s Maharatna Trust, will be organising a State-level Inter-Collegiate Bhavageethe and Folk Songs Contests for PU, Degree and Post-Graduate Degree students and Bhajan Contest for women, at the College auditorium at 10 am on Dec. 20.

Only  two students from every college can take part in Bhavageethe Contest, while one team from a college can take part in Group Folk Songs Contest. A team taking part in Folk Songs Contest can have a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 members. The entry fee for Bhavageethe Competition is Rs. 50, while that for Group Competition (Folk Songs and Bhajan) is Rs. 200.  There will be cash prizes for the top three winners in all the three contests.
