Dakshina Kannada (DK) spikers in the boys and girls section hogged the limelight by clinching the title in the State-level PU Boys and Girls Volleyball Tourney 2017-18, conducted by the Department of Pre-University Education, Mysuru, at St. Philomena’s College Grounds here on Saturday.
In the PU boys final, DK, helped by some inspiring play by Sourav D. Kulal and Pavan Kumar, registered a 25-13, 25-6 win over Udupi and clinched the title.
In the women’s section, excellent play by Spoorthi and Salithya enabled DK to register a 25-21, 25-11 win over Bangalore North and clinch the title.
