Mysuru: The Department of Computer Science and Engineering of  ATME College of Engineering, Mysuru, had organised a State-level Technical Symposium at its college premises recently.

The event was inaugurated by Dr. Shyam Vasudeva Rao, Director, Forus Health, Bengaluru, who was the chief guest. Dr. L. Basavaraj, Principal of ATMECE, was the guest of honour.

Dr. Shyam Vasudeva Rao, in his keynote address, spoke on ‘How to Clinic-II design of devices for Health Care’ and about designing end to end solution by giving importance to customer satisfaction, service time and product cost.

As part of the event, various competitions like Paper Presentation, Poster Presentation, Mini Project demonstration and Code Hunt were conducted. More than 200 students from various engineering colleges attended.

Prof. M. S. Veerendra Kumar, Head, Department of CSE presided. The event was co-ordinated by Dr. D. Puttegowda, Associate Professor and M.R. Archana, Assistant Professor, Department of CSE.
