State-level Yoga contest at Nadamantapa on June 18

Mysuru: As a prelude to International Day of Yoga, Datta Kriya Yoga International Centre, in association with Mysore Yoga Okkuta, K.R. Mohalla, has organised a State-level Yoga Competition – 2017 at Nadamantapa in Sri Ganapathy Ashrama here on June 18 from 8.30 am. Mandatory asanas for the contest are as follows:

Group – 1 (8 to 10 years – Boys & Girls): Vrukshasana (1); Parshwakonasana (8); Janusheersasana (127); Ustrasana (41) and Sarvangasana (234).

Group – 2 (11 to 14 years – Boys & Girls): Veerabhadrasana (15); Parshwakonasana (28); Paschimothasana (155); Ustrasana (41) and Halasana (241).

Group Р3 (15 to 18 years РBoys & Girls): Veerabhadrasana (17); Parshwakonasana (8); Paschimothasana (155); Ustrasana (41) and Sarvan gasana (234).

Group – 4 (19 to 25 years – Men & Women): Parshwakonasana (8); Veerabhadrasana (14); Paschimothasana (155); Navasana (78) and Halasana (241).

Group – 5 (26 to 35 years – Men & Women): Veerabhadrasana (15); Parshwakonasana (8); Janusheersasana (127); Navasana (78) and Halasana (241).

Group – 6 (36 to 45 years – Men & Women): Vrukshasana (2); Veerabhadrasana (15); Paschimothasana (155); Ustrasana (41) and Navasana (78).

Group Р7 (46 to 55 years РMen & Women): Veerabhadrasana (15); Parshwakonasana (8);  Janusheersasana (127); Navasana (78) and Sarvangasana (234).

Group – 8 (56 & above – Men & Women): Vrukshasana (2); Parshwakonasana (8); Paschimothasana (155); Navasana (78) and Halasana (241).
