Stinking sewage pit causing problems at Roopanagar

February 6, 2020

An open sewage treatment pit, right behind a house in Roopanagar 24th cross, is causing a lot of problems to the residents nearby. A resident alleged that as the pit is not covered, foul smell is emanating from it, causing difficulty to breathe and with the pit being open, flies and mosquitoes have made it their breeding place. Residents have urged the authorities to inspect the spot and issue directions to the concerned workers to either shift the pit or close it completely.
