Stop dumping of garbage near Vontikoppal temple

February 15, 2022

Sir,

Sri Lakshmi Venkataramanaswamy temple on KRS main road in Vontikoppal has become a garbage dumping zone. Devotees who visit the temple dispose the leftover of prasadam and flower waste near the temple.

Though the temple authorities try to clean up that area and the garbage, it becomes a dumping place very next minute. Because of this there’s also cattle menace around this area which causes traffic jam in the bylane.

During special events and during special puja times, the garbage pile mounts up and emanates foul smell making it difficult to walk by the road.

I request the authorities concerned to take up the issue and find a proper solution for the same. Due to the garbage dump, it gets difficult for the visitors to park their two-wheelers and again ends up blocking the traffic and causes disturbance.
