Stop wheelies and stunts on busy roads

February 17, 2022

Sir,

It has been observed that most of the teenagers nowadays are performing wheelies and other dangerous stunts on busy roads causing inconvenience and panicking the elderly riders, who may succumb to the fear and shock and may end up hurting themselves.

Mostly, the reckless riders perform these stunts on automatic gearless scooters. I have personally seen few of them performing these dangerous stunts on Nelson Mandela Road and Bannimantap.

I request the Traffic Police to crack down on this menace by seizing their vehicles and also punish them as per the law.

I also urge people to click pictures of these bikers along with registration numbers and share with the Police to ensure road safety.
