Stray dogs on St. Mary’s Road add to civic woes

April 22, 2023

Sir,

It’s with immense pain I am requesting and writing to the officials concerned that there has been a lot more trouble created by street dogs on St. Mary’s road 12th Cross, N.R. Mohalla.

The stray dogs are so many that the vehicles cannot even move  with ease on the street. Especially on the upper side of the road there are like 6 to 7 dogs which continuously bark and attack the ongoing motorists,  especially two-wheelers.

Unfortunately many accidents have occurred because of this dog menace and pedestrians are scared to take a stroll in the evenings. Parents are even scared to send their kids outside to play.  Autorickshaw drivers also refrain from taking passengers to this street. I request the officials of MCC and the area Corporator to take strict action and put an end to this stray dog menace.
