Stray dogs spark fear in Rajivnagar

August 16, 2025

Sir,

We, the residents of Rajivnagar, wish to draw the attention of the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) and the general public to the growing menace of stray dogs in our area, particularly behind Gupta Store.

The number of stray dogs here has increased significantly, causing fear among residents — especially children, the elderly and morning walkers. There have been several incidents of dogs chasing pedestrians and two-wheeler riders, raising serious safety concerns.

We urge MCC authorities to take immediate and effective action to address this issue before any unfortunate incident occurs.
