Sir,
This is to draw the attention of Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) authorities towards substantial number of unsterilised stray dogs that are causing public nuisance on Ashoka Road, East Cross-32, Lashkar Mohalla.
These stray dogs scatter the leftover food particles and packets dumped by the residents at a place for clearance all over the road. These strays also jump over the compound, enter the premises and tear the car tarpaulin to pieces besides dirtying the place. Especially at night time the dog fight disturbs our sleep.
Unable to bear the dog menace, I had lodged a complaint with MCC on 3.6.2020 which was duly acknowledged vide complaint number MYS-JH-VET-20-21-1405351 with an assurance that the issue will be resolved by 5.6.2020. In pursuant of my complaint some people came to nab the dogs with just a net and failed to catch them and left the place with an assurance that they would come back again. When I went on complaining in this regard over phone, I was utterly shocked to get an unreasonable direction to catch these strays by myself and that they would come and take them away. When these professional paid personnel of MCC cannot catch them, how can one expect a senior citizen like me to do their job?
Hence, I appeal to the MCC Commissioner to take appropriate and immediate action to put an end to this stray menace.
