Streetlights needed near APMC

November 29, 2019

Sir,

It is a pity that streetlights in and around APMC on Mysuru – Nanjangud Road do not burn at all. People waiting at the nearby bus stop are put to a lot of hardship due to this in catching buses as and when they come.

Vehicle drivers too need to be very cautious to check if someone is crossing the road and have to depend on their vehicle headlights only.

Now that there is heavy crowd at this junction always, especially between 6 pm and 9 pm, besides abnormal movement of goods vehicles in and out of the APMC yard, there is an urgent need for the authorities concerned to look into this civic urgency and ensure that the lights glow continuously.
