Strict ban on plastics from tomorrow

Mysuru: MCC Commissioner G. Jagadeesha has announced that there will be strict ban on the usage of plastic bags and other plastics from tomorrow (May 6).

The traders have been warned that their licences will be cancelled if they are found using the plastic materials which will be confiscated.  Even the citizens have to carry their cloth bags to the shops and co-operate with the Corporation authorities so that the ban of plastics could help in the Swachh Bharat campaign and keeping the city clean.
