Student dies in car accident

Mysore/Mysuru: A 22-year-old student, who was critically injured in a road accident in the city on Nov. 30, succumbed at a hospital later in the day.

K.N. Vikas, a resident of Railway Layout, was driving his car towards Malegara Maramma temple from Srirampura at about 10 am, when he allegedly lost control over the steering near T.S. Chatra junction and veered towards the left ramming into the electric pole on service road.

He had been admitted to a private hospital, where he succumbed at 3 pm same day.

KR Traffic Police have registered a case.
