Student fails in supplementary examination, ends life

Mysuru: A B.Sc student, who was reportedly depressed after failing in the supplementary exams, allegedly committed suicide by hanging self at his room in Lalithadripura here yesterday.

The deceased student has been identified as Sagar, who was pursuing his B.Sc course at Yuvaraja’s Degree College in city.

It is learnt that Sagar, who had failed in two subjects in the final exams, had written the supplementary exams which he failed to clear, which led him to take the extreme step.

Mysuru Rural Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
