Mysuru: ST. JOSEPH’S PRE-UNIVERSITY COLLEGE, JAYALAKSHMIPURAM: The Investiture Ceremony of St. Joseph’s Pre-University College was held at the Degree auditorium recently.

L Hamsaveni, Lecturer in Computer Science Department, Manasagangothri, Mysuru, was  the chief guest. Rev. Fr. Praveen Kumar, Chief Coordinator, Mysore Diocesan Educational Society, Mysuru, presided.

Mary J. Jennifer, Principal of St. Joseph’s Pre University College and teaching faculty were also present during the occasion.

Priyadarshini of II PCMB invoked God’s presence through a prayer and the College choir comprising of students from I and II PUC sang a prayerful song.  

Mukesh Kumar of I BASC welcomed the guest. There was reading from the holy scripture  — Michael Ambrose of I BASC read from Bible, Master Razik of I BASC from Quran and Shivani Shetty of I PCMB read from Bhagavad Gita. Uma Devi, Vice-Principal announced the members of the Student Council.

Peshwani (I BASC); Pragathi Group Captain: Roland (II BASC) and Vice-Captain:  Rajesh (I PCMB); Jagrathi Group Captain:  M.D.  Chethan (II PCMB) and Vice-Captain: Harshita Bohra (I BASC); Sports Prefects:  Safa Fathima (2nd PCMB) and Mallikarjuna (I PCMC); Cultural Prefects:  Santhoshi (2nd PCMB) and Meghana Biju (I BASC); Academic Prefects: Mohith Mohanan (II BASC) and Yashaswini  (II PCMB); Disciplinary Prefects:  M. Bhomika (II BASC) and Yadhushri (II PCMC).

Mary J. Jennifer, Principal, St. Joseph’s PU College, spoke on the significance of the Investiture Ceremony.  She wished the Student Council members and administered the Investiture Oath.

M Prathima of II PCMB proposed a vote of thanks. Mohit Mohanan of II BASC, Vaibhavi Lal of II PUC PCMC, M. Bhoomika of II BASC, Tanish of II BASC, Sareh of II PCMB, Revanth of I PCMC, Sneha of II PCMB and Arun Kumar of I PCMB compered the programme.

DEEPA COMPOSITE PU COLLEGE, ROOPANAGAR: The Students Union of Deepa Composite PU College was inauguration recently. Pramati Hillview Academy, Kuvempunagar: The 13th Investiture Ceremony of Pramati Hillview Academy was celebrated recently. A.N. Prakash Gowda, Superintendent of Police, BESCOM, Bengaluru, was the guest of honour. C.S. Sudarshana, Principal, Secondary School, administered the oath to the office-bearers (2017-18). H.V. Rajeev, Secretary of the Institution, presided over the programme. Senior Secondary School Principal Sharath Kumar handed over the School flag to School Head Boy Venu Gowda. School Treasurer S. Phaniraj, staff members and students were present.

Mouna (Vice-Captain); Sports Captain – B.P. Harshal; Sports Vice-Captain – Inchara. N. Shankar.
