Yuva Sambhrama Day-2

Mysuru: The Day-2 of Yuva Sambhrama witnessed students display their dance skills to some of the Indian classic, retro and devotional songs at Kuvempu Open-Air Theatre in Manasagangothri here yesterday.

The students, through their dance, invoked the blessings of Goddess Kali, Goddess Chamundeshwari and Lord Ganesha.

They performed to songs such as ‘Huttidare Kannadanaadalli Huttabeku…’, ‘Karunade   Kai Chaachide Node…’ among other Kannada songs including devotional songs.

Students from nearly 40 colleges from Mysuru and surrounding towns performed yesterday. The performances were not restricted only to entertainment but it also evoked the spirit of devotion and equality among the youth. The youth gathered at the venue also danced and enjoyed the performances.

ADC R. Aishwarya, Additional Regional Commissioner Dr. P. Shivaraju, Yuva Sambhrama Sub-Committee Working President Prathiba, Sub-Committee President Dr. Rakesh and Vice-President Krishnamurthy were present.
