Students excel in grappling

Mysore/Mysuru: The following students of Mallamma Marimallappa Women’s Arts and Commerce College have excelled at the University of Mysore Inter-College Karate, Kickboxing and Wrestling Competitions:

In women’s karate tournament, H. Sudha (final year B.Com) secured gold medal in 68-kg category and R. Dakshayini (II year BA) secured gold in 50-kg category; In women’s wrestling, N. Lavanya (I year B.Com) bagged gold medal in 65-kg category.

D.J. Surya, a II BBA student of Mallamma Marimallappa Science and Business Management College, has secured gold medal in 55-kg category of karate and silver medal in 57-kg category of kickboxing.
