The following students of Hari Vidyalaya in city, who participated in the Track and Field Meet held at Chamundi Vihar Stadium at Nazarbad here recently, have bagged various prizes in the tournament. The prize-winning students are: Priya V. Balangowda of 10th standard – first prize in 100 mts and 400 mts race; K. Harshitha of 9th std – second prize in 400 mts; Sanmathi S. Ambi of 9th std – third prize in 100 mts; Yashaswini of 10th std – third prize in 400 mts and first prize in 4×100 mts Medley race; Praveen of 12th std – second prize in javelin throw. Priya V. Balangowda and Praveen have been selected for the State-level Meet to be held between Sept. 3 and 5 at Alva’s in Moodubidre.
