Students groomed on their role to control AIDS

Mysuru:  Marking International Youth Day – 2018, District AIDS Prevention and Control Unit had organised a function recently at JSS PU College in Saraswathipuram here.

District AIDS and TB Control Officer Dr. P. Ravi presided. College Principal M.P. Rajeshwari, lecturer Swapna, District ICTC supervisor B. Savita and K.R. Hospital Counsellor S. Gopal were the chief guests.

Gopal briefed the gathering on HIV and blood donation.

Dr. Ravi in his presidential address explained the role of youth in controlling HIV and AIDS.

On the occasion, a debate and drawing contests were held for the students and prizes were given to the winners.
