Students injured in bee attack

Nagamangala: A group of Civil Engineering girl students, who were conducting survey of a land, as part of their educational assignment, suffered bee stings, when the insects attacked them all of a sudden near Hullenahalli village in the taluk yesterday.

The injured students, who are pursuing their Diploma in Civil Engineering course at a college near Devalapura Hand Post, are Anushree, Rakshitha, Brinda, Archana, Tanushree, Anusha and Nethra. They were a part of the team along with Professor Anil who had gone for a survey yesterday morning.

The girl students, unable to bear the pain following bee stings, began to scream and were rushed to the Government Hospital, where they are being treated for the injuries caused by the stings.
