Suggestion to prevent misuse of mobile phones on roads

September 2, 2023

Sir,

Looking at the accidents that are happening due to overuse/misuse of the mobile phone on the roads, I feel that the mobile companies/network providers should come up with softwares wherein the phone should stop working while in motion and should connect only when a person is in a static position or stationary position.

If the working of the network while in motion is very necessary like for example, the people who keep working during travelling from one place to other etc.,  then the subscriber should pay a certain (higher) amount and get the subscription of the network connection accordingly.

This might look a silly idea but might help many people from falling victims because of the mistake of others’ irresponsible usage of mobile phones on road.
