Mysuru: Karnataka State Commission for Women has written a letter to the Superintendent of Police (SP) of Mysuru district, seeking a report on the action taken in connection with the death of three members of a family —man, his wife and daughter — who committed suicide by consuming poison at their newly constructed house, in  Hale Kempaiahnahundi village of T. Narasipur taluk recently.

The letter stated that the tragic incident has been reported by media and the State Women’s Commission has taken cognisance of this incident. Hence a thorough probe should be taken and legal action be initiated against accused Ullas Gowda. The action taken report should be submitted to the Commission, the letter added.
