Sumalatha Ambarish campaign vehicle checked four times on Sunday

Mandya:  Even as the battle in Mandya Lok Sabha Constituency is getting hotter by the day, poll authorities on Sunday reportedly checked independent candidate Sumalatha Ambarish’s vehicle four times at different locations.

Sumalatha was carrying out her poll campaign in different villages coming under Melukote Assembly segment yesterday, when poll officials led by Pandavapura Assistant Commissioner Shylaja checked her vehicle four times at different points of time and location, for vehicle documents etc., it is learnt.

Upset over frequent checks of the vehicle used by Sumalatha for the campaign, fans of the actress vented out their ire against the officials, alleging that Sumalatha’s vehicle was being repeatedly targeted due to political pressure.
