Srirangapatna: Days after recovering from COVID-19, Mandya  MP Sumalatha Ambarish performed special puja at Nimishamba temple in Srirangapatna yesterday. Sumalatha, who chose to visit the temple on Varamahalakshmi festival day, took part in Chandika homa performed by a team of priests led by Sooryanarayan Bhat.

Coming out of the temple, Sumalatha said that she has prayed the deity seeking recovery of all COVID-19 infected  and  also to  make the country free of the deadly Coronavirus.

She was accompanied by Actor and Producer Rockline Venkatesh, who too has recovered from the virus, veteran actor Doddanna, Youth leader Darshan Lingaraju and others.
