Science Ashram, a hands-on Science Centre in city, is organising ‘Summer of Science’ for children in the age group of 9 and 14 years in city.

Summer of Science, which is free of cost, includes events such as star gazing sessions, educative talks by eminent scientists, field trips which include visits to GRS Fantasy Park to understand the working principle of different rides, industrial unit of N. Ranga Rao and Sons to know the science behind agarbathi making, CFTRI to appreciate the various techniques of mass food production and storage, Karnataka Soaps and Detergents Limited, Karnataka Silk Industries Corporation to name a few.

Science Ashram has taken this initiative with an intent to bridge the gap between the theory concepts they learn from Science textbooks and the practical applications in the real world.
