Surabhi’s musical feature on Devi on Nov.3

Surabhi Gaanakala Mandira, Mysuru, is presenting a Musical Feature “Nava navonmesha Shalini – Naada Roopini” on Saturday (Nov. 3) from 6 pm to 8.30 pm at  Jaganmohan Palace auditorium. It includes classical music, power-point presentation and shadow play to depict different aspects of the nine forms of Devi Parvathi, such as Akhilandeshwari, Durga, Gowri  and Rajarajeshwari. The special attraction is appearance of fully-decked Devis at the end. It is conceptualised and directed by Vidu. Dr. Sukanya Prabhakar while the performance is by her disciples. The accompanying artistes are Vid. Keshav (violin), Vid. H.L.Shivashankarswamy (mridangam) and Vid. H.L. Ananthakrishnaswamy (rhythm pad).
