Mysuru: “Sushira”, Sri V. Deshikachar’s Academy of Music, will hold its 18th Annual Music Festival from Aug.13 to 16 at Vasudevacharya Bhavana, JLB Road. Various great artistes are being featured in this festival and the schedule is as follows:
The concert starts at 6.15 pm on all the days. On 13th, Vocal by Vid. N.R. Prashanth accompanied by Vid. B.K. Raghu on violin, Vid. K. U. Jayachandra Rao on mridanga and Vid. Sharath Koushik on ghata.
On 14th, Flute duet by Vid. C. A. Sridhar and Keshavachandra, accompanied by Vid. R. Achyutha Rao on violin, Vid. G. S. Ramanujam on mridanga and Vid. V. S. Ramesh on ghata.
On 15th, Veena by Vid. M. Balakrishna, Flute by Vid. Vamshidhar accompanied by Vid. Anoor Ananthakrishna Sharma on mridanga and Vid. Sunaad Anoor on khanjira.
On 16th, Vocal by Vid. R. Chandrika accompanied by Vid. Anirudh Bharadwaj on violin, Vid. Anirudh Bhat on mridanga and Vid. S. Manjunath on ghata.
