September 1, 2021

Mysore/Mysuru: Saraswathipuram Police have taken two persons into custody on suspicion of murdering an auto driver, who was reported missing and are interrogating the suspects.

An auto driver, residing at Sharadadevinagar, had gone missing about three-four days ago and his family members had lodged a missing complaint with Saraswathipuram Police.

The Police, while conducting investigation, suspected that the missing person may have been murdered and took two persons including the friend of the missing person into custody and interrogated them.

The Police, who came to know that the missing person’s friend had murdered him and had buried the body in an empty space on Bogadi Road, conducted a spot inspection on Tuesday night. As the body has to be exhumed in the presence of Tahsildar, the Police have not confirmed the case.
