Suttur Jathra: Kite flying contest

As part of the week-long annual Suttur Jathra Mahotsava (Feb. 6 to 11), a kite flying contest has been organised at Suttur in Nanjangud taluk on Feb. 9. The contest will be organised under 4 categories — Primary School students, High School students, College students and General Public. There will be three prizes and two consolation prizes in each of the categories. Also, all the participants will be issued a Certificate of Appreciation.
