As part of Suttur Jathra Mahotsava from Feb. 6 to 11, a photography contest of photos related to the Mahotsava has been organised in two categories — DSLR camera and mobile phone photos. In DSLE category, contestants must submit 5 copies of 12×18 inches photos of different days of Jathra Mahotsava in mat finish hard copy and e-mail soft copy to: [email protected]. Cash prizes of Rs. 6,000, Rs. 4,000, Rs. 2,000 and Rs. 1,000 will be presented to 1st, 2nd, 3rd and consolation prize winners respectively.  In mobile phone category, contestants must submit 5 copies of 8×12 inches photos in mat finish hard copy and also send the soft copy via e-mail. Rs. 3,000, Rs. 2,000, Rs. 1,000 and Rs. 500 cash prizes will be presented to 1st, 2nd, 3rd and consolation prize winners.
