Suttur Jathra Mahotsava-2026, held from 15th to 20th January at Suttur Srikshetra, was a magnificent six-day spiritual and cultural festival commemorating Adi Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeshwara Shivayogi. Lakhs of devotees participated with deep devotion and enthusiasm.

The flawless conduct of religious rituals, cultural programmes, krishi mela, health camps, rural games, mass marriages and the inspiring anna dasoha (mass feeding), where every visitor was served food with reverence, truly reflected the noble ideals and service orientation of the Suttur Mutt.

Events such as Rathotsava (grand chariot procession) and Teppotsava (ceremonial float procession of the deity) added spiritual grandeur to the celebrations.

The tireless involvement and guiding presence of Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji throughout the Jathra Mahotsava ensured that the celebrations were systematically organised and well-maintained.

We offer our humble salutations to the Suttur Mutt, the organisers and devoted volunteers for making this sacred gathering a memorable experience. The Police and civic authorities were vigilant in maintaining law and order and ensuring public safety and smooth traffic movement throughout the festival.
