As part of Adi Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeshwara Shivayogigalavara Jatra Mahotsava, scheduled to be held from Jan. 26 to 31, 2025, Rural Theatre Show has been organised at Suttur Srikshetra in Nanjangud taluk of the district. Applications have been invited from theatre troupes to stage mythological and historical plays and the life story of Sharanas. Properties will be provided for the drama troupes selected to stage the play. Memento and certificate of appreciation will be given to participating troupes.

The theatre troupes should pay Rs. 500 for the application and submit the duly filled in application to Secretary, Suttur Jatra Mahotsava Samiti, Jagadguru Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Circle, Mysuru-570004 before                                           Nov. 30, 2024.  The drama troupes will be selected after the preliminary meeting  of the Jatra Mahotsava,  organised on the occasion of Punyaradhane of Dr Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Swamiji on Dec. 6, 2024. The applicants should participate in the selection process and those who abstain from the process won’t be considered for selection.
