The Election Commission has designated  former International cricketer Javagal Srinath and para-athlete M. Mahendra as the icons for Mysuru district’s Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation Programme (SVEEP). This announcement was made through a release issued by M. Kurma Rao, Additional Chief Electoral Officer of DPAR (Elections). Additionally, filmmaker Nagathihalli Chandrashekara has been appointed as the SVEEP icon for Mandya.
