Mysuru: The five-day Swadeshi and Organic Farming Expo- 2018, organised by Swadeshi Jagaran Manch, Mysuru, will be inaugurated at Maharaja’s College Ground here at 6 pm today.

While the expo will be inaugurated by K. Sriram, Vice-President of CREDAI, Mysuru, Swadeshi Mela will be inaugurated by Vishwaprasad Alva, Managing Director of Skanray Technologies, Mysuru.

RSS Dakshina Pranth Vibhaga Sanghachalak M. Venkatram will preside. National Co-ordinator of Swadeshi Jagaran Manch Prof. B.M. Kumaraswamy will deliver the keynote address.

About 150 stalls are being set-up in which household products, handloom, handicrafts, electrical and electronics, millets, desi cow products, varieties of desi rice and other grains grown through organic farming will be on display and sales at the expo.

N.R. Manjunath, State Co-ordinator of Swadeshi Jagaran Manch told SOM that the expo is an attempt to bring all Indian companies under one roof to promote them and added that this is the seventh expo being held in city.

Entry is free for the expo which is open for the public from 11 am to 9.30 pm.
