Sri Mahalakshmi Charitable Trust, Vidyaranyapuram, will celebrate the 163rd birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda at Madhava Shenoy auditorium in J.P. Nagar at 5.30 pm on Jan. 15. Senior writer K.C. Shivappa will be felicitated on the occasion. Tumakuru’s Hiremath Tapovana Mutt Seer Dr. Sri Shivananda Shivacharya Swamiji will inaugurate the programme and deliver a special lecture. Cultural thinker Shankar Devanur will preside. Prof. Bettaswamy and Dr. MGR Urs will be the chief guests. Also, 69 eligible students will be distributed scholarship and good performers of the company will be presented financial incentives.
