Swaraj Utsava on Sept. 13 at Pandavapura

Late Puttannaiah Foundation and Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha (KRRS) will be jointly organising Swaraj Utsava on Sept. 13 at Pandava Stadium in Pandavapura to promote comprehensive development and growth of villages. The event will include exhibitions on 11 different subject and demonstrations from 10 am to 5 pm. Speaking to media persons, Melukote MLA Darshan Puttannaiah said, more than 30 national and international companies will be taking part in the event.

“The Swaraj Utsav will feature exhibitions on various subjects including agriculture, health, economic self-reliance, technology, youth empowerment, entrepreneurship and education among others. The event has also been organised to promote Melukote’s history, tradition and culture. We also aim to promote Melukote as a tourist hub through ‘Namma Halli, Namma Hemme, Namma  Baduku Swarajya Gramadede’ slogan,” he added.
