Sword brandished at a birthday bash; probe on

Mysore/Mysuru: A recent birthday party hosted by a rowdy-sheeter at Jaganmohan Palace auditorium that was attended by many anti-social elements from Mysuru and Bengaluru has come under the Police scanner and the search is on for the participants of the bash.

Police intelligence wing have reported to their higher officers that the Jaganmohan Palace was taken on rent and the birthday cake was cut with a sword by the ‘birthday boy’ and he later brandished the sword amidst loud cheers from his supporters and fellow elements. The photos and videos of the person wielding a sword have been circulated on social media.

 The birthday party was organised under the Devaraja Police limits and the Police top brass have reportedly pulled up officers for allowing such a party that too where a sword was brandished. Taking the incident seriously, the Police are now searching for the participants of the party and have activated their informant network, sources added.
