SWR celebrates Engineers’ Day

Mysuru: South Western Railway Engineers Association (SWREA) celebrated Engineers’ Day coinciding with the birth anniversary of scholar Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya at the Chamundi Railway Officers’ Club here on Sept.15.

On the occasion, K. Ravichandran, Dy. Chief Engineer – Construction, was felicitated by the Mysuru Chapter of the Association for contributing significantly in successful translocation of Tipu’s Armoury at Srirangapatna to pave the way for early completion of the double line project between Mysuru and Bengaluru.  

Atul Gupta, Divisional Railway Manager, SWR, Mysuru Division, was the chief guest.

Yatish, Sr. Divisional Commercial Manager, SWR and other senior officials were present.
