Syed Abdul Salam (79), retired Assistant Civil Engineer and a resident of Shanthinagar, passed away yesterday at his son’s residence in Bengaluru.

He leaves behind two sons, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral was held at the Muslim Burial Grounds at Shanthinagar in Bengaluru today
