Bengaluru: Senior Congress MLA from Sira, T.B. Jayachandra, who missed out on a Cabinet berth, has been appointed as the State’s special representative in New Delhi.

He has been accorded Cabinet status and granted all facilities associated with the rank of a Cabinet  Minister.

In other appointments, Minor Irrigation Minister N.S. Boseraju, an MLC, has been nominated as the Leader of the Legislative Council, while Congress leader and KPCC Working President Saleem Ahmed has been nominated as the Chief Whip of the Legislative Council and Ramdurga Congress MLA Ashok Pattan as the Chief Whip of the Legislative Assembly.
