T. Thimmegowda (95), retired PWD Engineer and a resident of Jayalakshmipuram, passed away yesterday in city.

After retiring from service, he was serving as the Trustee of Hariharananda Bharati Ashram and Narayanananda Vishwayogashrama in Mysuru. A native of Honakere village in Nagamangala taluk, he leaves behind his wife, two sons, two daughters & a host of relatives and friends. He was the father-in-law of retired Kannada Professor, humourist and orator Prof. M. Krishnegowda.

Last rites were held at Muktidhama in Vijayanagar 4th Stage this morning.
