Talk on ‘Drug abuse in modern society and rights for women’

Mysuru: St. Joseph’s College for Women, Sathagalli, had organised a Guest Talk on ‘Drug Abuse in Modern Society and Rights for Women’ at the  College premises recently.

P.P. Santhosh, Inspector, Udayagiri Police Station, who was the resource person, motivated the students to make use of the rights available. He also dealt on offences against women, dowry system, sexual harassment, pornography, abduction and human trafficking.

Sharing his experiences and observations as a Police Officer, he discussed different issues in the society and the steps taken towards improving the advantages taken in each situation.

Principal Dr. Manu welcomed. Ruquaya of II BCA proposed a vote of thanks.
