Mysuru: Kalasuruchi and Kutuhali-Kannada will present Science Sanje event tomorrow (Oct. 11) at Suruchi Rangamane in Kuvempunagar from 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm.

Dr. Neeruj Ramanujam, Head, Outreach, Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA), Bengaluru, will deliver a talk on ‘Astrophysics and the successive dethronement of humans.’

Dr. Neeruj Ramanujam is a Radio Astronomer and has worked on star formation, radio interferometry software and commissioning work for radio interferometers. He is the head of the newly constituted Science Communication, Public Outreach and Education (SCOPE) Section at IIA. His interests are mainly designing and implementing large scale outreach campaigns, promoting scientific temper, astronomy in the public domain and the use of astronomy for social change.
