Talk on ‘Turns and Twists in Autism’

Rotary Ivory City Mysuru has arranged a talk by Dr.  Naveen  Nagarajan from University of  Utah on Oct.19 at Vanitha Sadana School at 7 pm. He will speak on the topic  ‘Turns and Twists in Autism’, a parent empowering series.  The talk will focus on how to manage an Autistic child,  how to educate and how to provide sustainable future for Autistic children.

Dr. Nagarajan received his  Ph.D from Max Planck Institute for  Biophysical Chemistry,  Germany,  in  Biophysics and  Neuroscience and started working on Fragile-X syndrome, an Autism spectrum disorder since 2003 at MIT.  He has worked with two  Nobel  Laureates during his  Ph.D  and Post-doctoral work.

Dr. Nagarajan will provide tips on various therapies that are available for Autistic children and suggestions on how to improve the quality of Autistic children’s life and share some of his personal experiences with his own child who was diagnosed with Autism, according to a press release from  Rtn. Muthukumaran, Hon. Secretary, Rotary Ivory City Mysuru.
