As part of Science Sanje event, Kalasuruchi and Kutuhali have jointly organised a talk on ‘Understanding Elephants’ by Dr. T.N.C. Vidya, Associate Professor, Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced  Scientific Research, Jakkur, Bengaluru, at Suruchi Rangamane, Kuvempunagar, on July 15 between 6.30 pm – 7.30 pm. The talk will be in English.

Profile: Dr. T.N.C. Vidya is also the Chair, Evolutionary and Integrative Biology Unit at Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced  Scientific Research. She has a Ph.D from Centre for Ecological Sciences, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru. She was a Ramanujam Fellow between 2008-2013 in the field of Evolutionary Biology. She has published extensively in important journals on varied subjects and specifically on the Socio Ecology of Elephants.
