Mysuru: Maharaja’s Pre-University College emerged victorious in the Mysuru Taluk-level Boys’ Throwball Tournament for the academic year 2026-27, defeating Marimallappa’s PU College in an exciting final held at Mysuru Royal Institute of Technology (MRIT) at Palahalli recently.

The tournament was jointly organised by Department of School Education (PU) & MRIT.

In the final, Maharaja’s PU College, represented by State-level players Shiv Shankar, Anil and Nandish, displayed impressive coordination and skill to beat Marimallappa’s PU College 25-17, 25-23.

MRIT Principal Dr. K.S. Abhinandan, Vice-Principal Dr. N. Nakul, Physical Education (PE) Director Vinay Kumar, heads of departments, teaching and non-teaching staff, physical education lecturers from various PU colleges and more than 400 students were present.
