Mysuru: On the occasion of 225th Annual Sandal Urs of Hazrath Tipu Sultan, Hazrath Tipu Sultan Waqf Estate Development Committee had organised the Urs at Gumbad-e-Shahi in Srirangapatna  recently.

Minister for Primary and Secondary Education, Auqaf and Minorities Development, Tanveer Sait, who is also the Chairman of Hazrath Tipu Sultan Waqf Estate Development Committee, offered floral tribute to  the Tomb of Hazrath Tipu at Sirangapatna.

Zulfiqar Ulla, CEO, Karnataka Board of Aukaf, Shafiq Abidi, Urdu Poet, N.Anwar Pasha, former MUDA Member and others were present.

In spite of heavy rains, thousands of members visited the Tomb of Tipu. Many processions were taken out from various parts of Mysuru which culminated at the Tipu Tomb in Srirangapatna.
