TAPCMS Director run over by train

Mysuru: In a tragic incident, a person from city was run over by a train at Bengaluru Railway Station last evening.

The deceased has been identified as L. Nagendraswamy (59), Director of Taluk Agricultural Produce Co-operative Marketing Society (TAPCMS) Limited at Kote.

A native of Siddaramaiahnahundi in the taluk, Nagendraswamy was residing at Ramakrishnanagar in city. He leaves behind his wife Rajalakshmi, three daughters and a host of relatives and friends. The body has been kept at Victoria Hospital in Bengaluru and would be handed over to the family members after post-mortem today, said the Railway Police officials.
